Synopsis
During the battle for Iwo Jima, three of the six surviving men in the iconic flag-raising photo were John 'Doc' Bradley, Pvt. Rene Gagnon, and Pvt. Ira Hayes. They were among the Marines and Navy Corpsman captured in the historic moment by Joe Rosenthal on February 23, 1945.
