Synopsis
Under Roman rule in the Holy Land, Jewish people face oppression, anxiety, and heavy taxes. High priest Caiaphas, trying to maintain order, sees the arrival of Jesus as a threat. Those worried about a revolution plot to kill Jesus to prevent unrest.
