Synopsis
During the Great Depression, charming bank robber John Dillinger captures the public's sympathy but becomes a nuisance for J. Edgar Hoover and FBI. Hoover designates him as Public Enemy Number One, tasking agent Melvin Purvis with capturing him at any cost.
