Synopsis
Rakel, a devout Christian in 1930s northern Sweden, is compelled to join her husband's new religious sect, which claims to have divine guidance. Despite her initial reservations, Rakel becomes more deeply involved in the increasingly extreme beliefs and practices of the cult.
