Synopsis
In the 1980s, Chris Gueffroy and his friend Christian Gaudian plan to escape East Germany without informing Chris's mother, Karin. Believing the order to shoot escapees has been temporarily lifted due to a visit by the Swedish PM, they gamble on a risky escape across the Berlin Wall.
