Synopsis
After losing her home in Tokyo to Allied bombing, Hisako evacuates with her kids to Kobe to live with her cousin Kyoko. Tragically, Kobe is also bombed, killing Kyoko. Hisako is left to care for all four children, struggling to find enough food for everyone.
