Synopsis
During the Nazi occupation of France in 1942, Gilles is saved from being executed as a Jew by pretending to be Persian. He is tasked with teaching Farsi to Head of Camp Koch, who aims to open a restaurant in Iran after the war. Gilles cleverly survives by inventing new Farsi words daily.
