Synopsis
In the late 1920s in the North Carolina mountains, newly-married couple George and Serena Pemberton build a timber empire together. Serena shows her strength by managing loggers and facing dangers, but their marriage faces challenges when secrets are revealed, leading to a dramatic confrontation.
