Synopsis
During World War I in France, Marthe, waiting for her husband Jacques, engages in a passionate affair with 17-year-old François, causing jealousy and struggles. Marthe tries to show her commitment to François, despite being married, and complications arise when she becomes pregnant with Jacques' child.
