Synopsis
Harvard-educated Sheriff James Averill in Jackson County, Wyoming, gets caught in a conflict between impoverished immigrants and wealthy ranchers, aided by mercenary Nathan Champion. A love triangle with local madam Ella Watson adds complexity as Averill and Champion reevaluate their allegiances.
