Synopsis
In 17th-century France, Father Urbain Grandier fights against Cardinal Richelieu's corrupt rule in Loudun. Chaos ensues as Sister Jeanne, driven by sexual repression, accuses him of witchcraft, causing hysteria to grip the city.
