Synopsis
Elderly doctor Isak Borg embarks on a journey with his daughter-in-law to receive an honorary degree. Meeting hitchhikers along the way, he reflects on his life's highs and lows, especially as memories of his first love resurface through encounters with a young woman named Sara.
