Synopsis
Hud Bannon is a heartless and reckless young man who corrupts everything and everyone he comes into contact with. He embodies the disillusioned youth seeking thrills without caring about the outcomes. Conflict arises between Hud and his morally upright father, Homer, while his nephew Lon initially admires Hud's deceitful ways before realizing the depths of his immorality. Hud thrives in a world of exploitation, considering himself a winner despite his cheating nature, justifying it by his loose interpretation of the law.
