Synopsis
The film Light of Asia tells the story of Prince Gautama (Rai) who, sheltered in a luxurious palace, discovers the harsh realities of his kingdom's suffering. He forsakes his privileged life to become a wandering teacher, ultimately achieving enlightenment and founding Buddhism.
