Synopsis
In 1856, Nawab Wajid Ali Shah of Awadh faces British colonial threat as General Outram is sent on a covert mission for annexation. Amidst political turmoil, the Nawab indulges in leisure and spirituality, while his court nobles, Mir and Mirza, are engrossed in chess games.
